REST API 1.0 POST gives me "nothing happened"
Hi, I love the tarpipe idea, but I'm having some difficulties.
I can't seem to be able to use the API 1.0 POST. Not using a workflow that previously worked (once), not using the PHP script that does a API 1.0 REST POST. This form should post a note on evernote: http://sim.erikdebruijn.nl/form.php but I now every time I get "nothing happened". Is there a more verbose error for this?

Inappropriate?Hi Erik,
There is a problem with the design of the workflow you were using. It is missing the connectors. Can you please review the workflow and save it again? -
Thanks for your reply Vitor.
I don't know which workflow you have been looking at. I've got about 4 workflows in tarpipe currently.
I'm unsure about the terminology now, since 'connectors' in my words would be the cables between the 'modules'. But in the workflow GUI they are in a list of 'connectors'. What exactly do you mean with the connectors?
I'll assume in this post that you mean the 'cables' between the online services. They all seem to have connectors. I've tried many variations but I didn't get any results after the first result. I followed the following tutorial to attach the connectors:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smwiqd...
I simplified it to just a RestDecoder and Evernote. There's a difference in the video, since RestDecoder now also has a URL variable. I'm not sure if these variables have to be connected always? Maybe that is generating the error? To find out, I also made one with a TextFormatter to join the two texts so that the RestDecoder output is being used. But it makes it more complex, so possibly this has introduced a new error.
If you have an example of what I'm doing wrong and how it should be done, that would be most helpful!
TIA,
Erik -
Inappropriate?Hi Erik,
The connectors I was referring are the services. I've just come across the malformed workflow in our logs, and it was one of yours.
You don't have to use all the RestDecoder fields, only the ones that you need.
There is a known bug in the workflow design interface, that occurs when the wires are drawn from the destination to the source. Please make sure you connect all the services starting from the output of the service to the input of the other.
Thanks for the feedback,
VR
