Calling Plan Texting Limits
I am a teacher and I plan on using Tatango to text my students about class notices and assignments. My calling plan (AT&T) has a limit of 200 texts a month. If I send out one message to 200 students, will AT&T interpret that as 200 texts, or a single text? Additionally, if I receive 200 replies, will each text count against my limit? Thanks.

Inappropriate?Great questions! In regards to sending the messages, this has nothing to do with your current mobile phone plan, we send all the messages from our phone number - 68398 (we never link your phone number with the messages we are sending from the website).
In regards to replies, if you send the replies to your mobile phone it will count against your mobile phone plan. My advice if you have a limited plan is to opt-out of receiving replies to your mobile phone and have them come to the website. You can change this setting in the "Group Settings" tab.
