Event response status is not clearly indicated.
If you are already "attending" an event, the only way to know is to find yourself in the list. Somewhere it should show your status clearly and distinctly.
Also, if you click the "Attending" button again, there is no feedback (it looks busted when the real reason is that you already are attending).
It should say something like "You are currently Attending this event. Change your response to: ...".
Meetup does something like this.

1. when you click on a button, there's now a graphical feedback (a spinner) while the website computes your request. should fix the no-response problem
2. now, your attendance status in now highlighted in bright blue, while the other buttons are in faded blue, so you can see in a glance if you've signed up or not. hope it's ok for you
