I tried it and I'm confirming the bug
It turns out that you can't have more than 4 friendships requests per day per user. This was to prevent spamming, as found on twitter with bots which auto-follow people.
I just changed it to 10. It should be more than enough for normal users.

i know. I need to show something like "oops, you tried friending too many people. try tomorrow". I did a redirect instead. I'll do a more user-friendly message
