Technorati is not indexing my blog or responding to pings or tech support requests
Technorati is not indexing my blog, http://www.aconservativelesbian.com. I have claimed my blog, added the Technorati ping URL and pinged manually many times over the last week. I have e-mailed tech support but have not even received an auto-responder reply. Please help.

Inappropriate?Today is a big improvement because now the indexing is only 12 to 14 hours behind. I have my blog set to auto-ping Technorati when I post. How long does Technorati take on average to index a blog after a ping? Also, my authority dropped by three during the weeks that Technorati didn't index my blog. Does this mean that my blog was unlinked from three blogrolls?

Inappropriate?OK, I found where an error in our system saving data for this and several other blogs was causing updates to fail. I think I've solved the problem, but let's keep an eye on it.
Also (and I do not think this is related to the update problems), you have an invalid feed link on your blog page -- it says:<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml”

I just checked and the updates at Technorati are seven days old, which got me shut out of weekend link-fests. So the automatic updating is not working. I have installed the URL to ping Technorati whenever I post. Is there something I need to do? Or something you guys have to fix? I look forward to getting this resolved.
How do I fix the invalid feed link you found? Do I put my FeedBurner URL inside the quotes in href="link to your feed"?

We'll be rolling out some changes later this week that should really get rid of this problem for good.

I'm not sure my problem is the same.
There is a wonderful blog that we suggested to Technorati over a year ago, and still there is nothing on Technorati regarding it.
That's sad really. Technorati is so good in many ways, but a blog like toysperiod is a premier site in its class. Without it, and entire area of interest in underserved.
For example, ToysPeriod walks us through the MIT artificial intelligence labs and shows how the work there impacts the toys we have to buy on the shelves of places like ToysRUs.
I do hope that Technoratic responds to these kinds of issues soon.
