Don't use fake names
Techvibes recently posted a GREAT article needling the local tech community in Vancouver. Unfortunately, a fake name (as far as we can tell) was used. It would be good to have an editorial introduction and explanation of the position on using fake names.

Inappropriate?Agreed. I expect Techvibes to take drastic measures to rally the community that it is built around, but it would sure be nice if there was an actual person willing to be accountable to these very strong opinions.
To sling mud anonymously is too easy, and counterproductive in my opinion.
I’m calling you out, Kevin Curry.

Inappropriate? There are two sides of this. One is the tradition of a pen name for satire and poking fun that the elite, but the other is Techvibes wanting to be taken seriously as a news outlet. It's one thing if the pen name is so outlandish to know from the beginning that it's fake and another to have a name that could be real.
I think that Rob should "out" the person so he/she can stand by his/her words. The points and discussion are fantastic (I just put my 2 cents in), and the person who started it needs to get the credit, and criticism, deserved.
