Recently active topics in Tesla Motors

Have you researched using ultracapacitors as energy storage devices, for future tesla models? If so what were your findings? How about for boosting the efficiency of the roadsters regenerative breaking? Does the breaking system already make use of ultracapactiors?

I'm guessing the answer isn't as simple as the question, because the car isn't really analogous to current cars. So what's the deal with shifting?
