Fade out Hyperspaces labels from topmost layer when switching
Environment: MacbookPro3,1 + OSX v10.5.6 + HyperSpaces v1.0 beta7 (build 830)
Idea/Enhancement Request: When switching hyperspaces, display Hyperspaces label on topmost layer but fade it out, perhaps with a customizable value.

Inappropriate?I'm not quite sure what this would look like - any chance you could mock something up in photoshop to show me what you're thinking?

Inappropriate?Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I made a 30 frame animated .GIF to show what I mean (you may need to click on it to animate)

The orange glow may be a little distracting/gratuitous (I mainly put it in so it stands out against the background, could be toggle to enable/disable it)...
The basic idea is that you see it for a brief moment when you transition between spaces.
PS: Effects used = drop shadow, outer glow, blurred stroke (simulated by outer bevel)
PPS: Yes, it's windows, ignore that :) -
It's hard to ignore :P
I'll have a look into this, but I kind of like the animation at the moment (just sliding to the new position). You'd need to fade back in from this again, which means it's going to take a bit longer for the transition.
I'll have a think about it - thanks for the feedback!
