Inappropriate?I'm not sure you'll be able to. Deskshade draws it's own desktops, and thus really only understands itself - not spaces.
Is there any particular feature from Deskshade I could bring into Hyperspaces to make this work for you? -
Inappropriate? The main thing I noticed is that I could not hide the files on the desktop which is the main reason I got Deskshade. I did try quitting DS and trying HS but did not seem to work for me then either. Maybe I needed to restart. I am using a MB Air running OS 10.5.6.

Inappropriate?I'll add this feature to Hyperspaces in the future - it's not there right now.

Inappropriate?OK. When you do it and post on Macupdate, then mention that feature and I will try it again. Is it practical to think of using HS on my configuration? I wonder if the MB Air too slow.
-
It's hard to say - the older MacBook Air had a pretty woeful graphics card - Hyperspaces really relies on Core Animation, and having plenty of graphics memory available. If you don't, then the current release is likely to slow down a bit while you're using it.
I'll definitely post on MacUpdate when this feature is added - thanks for reporting the problem. -
Inappropriate?I have the original MB Air. MB Air, 1.6 GHz, VRAM 144, so likely slow, right?
-
Inappropriate?Compared to the newer ones, yes. It will run, but I'm fairly certain it's going to have to do a lot of work to keep up with switching spaces.
I'll be adding a mode in a future version that doesn't use Core Animation for desktop backgrounds.
