Hyperspaces Is In A Time Warp!
I keep being informed by Hyperspaces that a new update is available ~ But I already have v 1.0 beta 9 (Build 1004), and Hyperspaces is telling me my NEW update is 0.8.9 (build 1046)!!
Don't know if anyone else has reported this, but best to let you all know. At present I am just ignoring it, but it is irritating.
I am using MacBook Pro (Unibody) 2.8Ghz running OS X 10.5.8 with all apple updates installed.
Thanks :-)

Inappropriate?I knew this would bite me in the bum when I did it.
Short answer - the build it's offering you is newer than what you're using. It's the build number that's important, not the version.
Long answer - my versioning scheme has (to date) been unrealistic - it's also been very hard to manage jumping straight to 1.0. I have become a big fan of long betas, especially given the small amount of time I have to dedicate to Hyperspaces. I want to release small, sharp weekly updates, and it's going to look very strange once I get to 1.0b270.
You can always download the latest stable build from:
http://thecocoabots.com/hyperspaces/d...
and the latest preview is at:
http://thecocoabots.com/hyperspaces/p...
If you're a MacHeist user, you'll need to contact me one last time for the URL - and then you can choose whether to continue using stable or preview builds.
Sorry for the confusion.
