Inappropriate?No reason at all. I'll look into adding one - would you prefer this be completely customisable, or more like Apple's command-tab behaviour where when you hold down shift, it reverses the action?

Setting the last two hotkeys will give you what I believe you want ('Switch to the next space' / 'Switch to the last space'). Let me know if that's not the case:

There is a new hotkey "Switch to the previously active space" that should do what you're looking for. -

Is it possible to make a "Switch to the previous space" instead of "Switch to the previously ACTIVE space" ?
Seems more logic to me.
Which means :
next space hotkey :
1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 1 -> ...
previous space hotkey :
1 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1 -> ...
Without any notion of "history". Just seeing the spaces as a circle where you can switch back and forth ...

Yes, definitely got it this time. I've been calling this 'circular' space switching. Well, I've got to get a new beta out by Thursday so let me see how far I get!

Turns out that my beta expiry is next month - I am taking this opportunity to rewrite some of the lower-level code in Hyperspaces so that I don't have to do as much work for version 1.1 and later releases.
Circular switching is still on my TODO list for the next beta. -
