Is there an AppleScript interface to Hyperspaces planned?
I'm an exceedingly happy user of Hyperspaces. Great work!
I have a request: how likely is it that an upcoming version of Hyperspaces will have some AppleScript support? The reason I'm asking is because the Spaces app has very poor integration with AppleScript, and just like Hyperspaces makes up for a number of other Spaces deficiencies, giving us a better AppleScript interface would be great!
What I'd like to do via AppleScript consists of:
1. Querying to see what Space is currently showing on the screen.
2. Switching to a specified Space.
3. Getting a list of Space numbers and their associated Space names.
The second option is present in a rather inconvenient form in the AppleScript interface to "System Events" (it requires a keyboard mapping to the Space switcher, and then these key events are just sent out -- UGH!).
The first two options are very desirable, and the third seems to me to be a "nice to have".
Anyway, I know you're busy, but I just wanted to add this request to the list. It will make Hyperspaces even more desirable to use.

Inappropriate? It's extremely likely. There's a key list of features I'm looking at for the 1.x series, and scripting support is in there. It will probably be a month or two before this makes it into the previews, but I'm keen to see AppleScript support myself.
I’m confident

I'm very happy to know that AppleScript support is coming! I'm (very patiently) looking forward to this capability.
I’m happy and thankful
