Way to de-dupe feeds, or 'mute' a source or sub-feed
A minority of my Twitter crowds also uses the Twitter-as-status-message in Facebook. Within EventBox, I get quite a few twitters twice or more, listed under separate sources. I know cross-app posting solutions solve problems that EventBox is also striving to solve—one-stop social activity, so you don't have to update all those pieces with different information. But seeing a message 2x or 3x times is overload.
My request is that there's a way to "mute" or hide feed sources—like a person (I'd mute their Facebook status reports) or even a sub-feed (I'd like to mute Facebook's Friend Photos feed entirely).

Inappropriate?I submitted a feature request through the app with this idea, but I'll put it in here for posterity :) I recommend checking out Socialthing!, i remember them doing it pretty well. Thanks!

Inappropriate? This is a good way to let us a know you want something - we check Get Satisfaction and our internal database regularly so that we can plan what is going to be implemented next.

Inappropriate?Ah, I just wanted to post a part of your question as a new one - a good thing, getsatisfaction offers search while typing a new question...
I muted some fellows on the facebook website, I'd love to have them muted in EventBox, too. Does their API provide this? -
I haven't looked into it yet but I've filed a request to investigate it further. I would also like to mention the fact that if you file your requests to our support email (see the notice at the top of the page), we will 100% look and respond to it while we do not actively monitor GetSatisfaction (due to centralization of support).
