Exporting Account Balances to Excel
I'd like to convert to Moneydance but I need the capability to export a file for use in Excel. The file would contains account balances: current (or as of current date) and final (including transactions for dates in the future). Can this be done in any way by a user?

Inappropriate?If you do a report in MD, then "save" as an "comma delimited" format, you can then open it in a spreadsheet program.
This might get you close to what you need. -
Inappropriate?This would work if there was a report that had the necessary information. There isn't and there seems to be no ability to define one. That was the simplest of my reporting needs and it seems it cannot be accomplished. Alas, it appears I will be stuck with Quicken for the foreseeable future.
As an aside, I find this forum format to be difficult to comprehend and it might be a further disadvantage that would weigh against a shift to Moneydance.
In any case, good luck with your product, and I hope someday it will have what I need.
