Feature request re: transactions in Moneydance
Are there any plans to change how Moneydance handles transactions? I have a few specific examples to share:
1. For transactions which are downloaded directly from the bank (ex: BofA), it would be nice if they were entered into the registered as cleared. If there is already an entry in the register which MD matches, it should also mark the transaction as cleared. I don't understand why the product doesn't do this now but this would be a really nice change so that it maintains consistency with other personal banking software.
2. Would it be possible to integrate the pending billpay transactions into the register as well? For consistency sake, I always pay my bills from the BofA site directly. In Quicken, when I downloaded transactions from my bank, the pending billpay transactions were always entered into the register. And when the bill actually cleared, it would match in the download and mark the transaction as cleared. I can see that MD is "aware" of the billpay transactions but it doesn't enter them into the register. I feel like this would be a really GREAT enhancement.
3. I believe it has been referenced before but can a single download request be made for all of my online accounts? I currently have 3 credit cards and 2 checking accounts linked with MD which I have to manually download every day. It would be nice to have a single download request function.

Inappropriate?I too am disappointed to learn I have to open each account, then click download. Quicken has a 1 click update for all accounts. This one feature might be difference whether I stay with Mondaydance or return to Quicken. I own both, but just don't trust Quicken for the long haul.

Inappropriate?It would also be a nice feature to include the bank's/credit card's current balance with the download--as in Money.
