How are stock/mutual fund prices updated in MD?
How are stock/mutual fund prices updated in MD? Do I have to do it manually (can't find a way to do that), or is it automatic? The prices shown in my portfolio only reflect those from my last download from my investment company. BTW, I just started using MD, and really like it so far.

Inappropriate? You need to install the extension for the Stock synchronizer. From the main menu bar, select Extensions > Add... , select "from the Internet", and then select the synchronizer from the dialog box.
(or you could update them manually, but what a pain!)

Inappropriate?Thanks!

Inappropriate? There should be a way to trigger an update at any time. (other than be restarting)

Inappropriate?Choose "Extensions" >>> "Stock Quote Synchronizer" and it will update right then (watch the status bar at the bottom of the MD screen)
I’m confident

Inappropriate?DISREGARD THIS: I was using the Extensions MENU -- not the toolbar icon. Working fine, now...

The Stock Synchronizer didn't seem to work, for me...
I installed the Yahoo Stock Quotes extension and the "Stock/Forex quotes auto synchronizer", and picking both of them from the Extensions screen doesn't seem to do anything on the status bar, and doesn't do any updates to my security's price.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Does the stock quote sync work on the demo version, or only on the licensed version? I can't get my security prices to update for anything on the free demo.
