Income and Expenses Report - Grouped by Month
All I'm looking for is a simple report that lists total income and total expenses per each month in a given time period (last 12 months, for example). Similar to the current income and expenses report, only grouped by month instead of grouped by category. I'm surprised that this doesn't exist yet!

Inappropriate?Yeah. You can do a graph, or top level category group by month, but not a report of the whole thing; bummer.

Inappropriate?Yes you can do this with the MoneyDance detailed budget extension. Just download "detailedBudget_0.5.mxt" from http://code.google.com/p/moneydance-d...
and add to the MoneyDance directory then start it up from the extensions menu. Use subtotal by month. Cheers, Roger -
Inappropriate?That looks promising (although I still think that this should be functionality in core moneydance). I'll keep an eye on that project and, if I find some time, submit some patches.
