Is Chase.com supported for Online Banking?
I use Chase.com for my online banking, which I believe is officially JP Morgan Bank Chase, N.A. Neither "Chase", "Chase Manhattan" nor "J.P. Morgan Chase - Texas" will let me log in for online banking, although Chase's web site make mention of having to set-up a monthly fee Direct Account access for Financial Management software. It however also mentions that Quicken users don't need to set this up, as they support some sort of direct web access.
So essentially, my question would be is this Chase bank supported for online banking, and if so, is it via the monthly fee direct access fee, or am I just screwing up something else. I've had no problem setting up on-line access to my credit cards, so this is a big improvement over my ancient version of MS Money 2000 even with just my checking/savings working in web .ofx download mode.

Inappropriate?I think Chase customer support would be the best people to answer this. If they claim "we don't support Moneydance" you can just say you would like "Direct Connect" or "Direct OFX Connections" enabled from Quicken for Windows and Moneydance should work the same way, using the same connection name (if it isn't already in Moneydance, let us know and I'll add it).

Inappropriate?I have this same issue. I called Chase Customer Service and it costs $9.95/month to be able to directly connect from Moneydance. Quicken users can direct connect for free but that is a feature on Quicken's end, not Chase's. Can Moneydance set this up as well?

Inappropriate?I suspect Quicken "direct web access" mentioned on the Chase website is just the Quicken function that will auto open (in your default web browser) an institution's website that you have specified in Quicken as offering normal QIF or QFX download. This is not much of an improvement over just opening the site yourself; you still have to logon, do the download and import.
Email from Chase's customer service I have received in early this week say that "direct connect" is only available at $9.95 per month.
Chase bank is listed in the OFX home directory, but I get errors in trying to setup a manual connection with the info there. If you have set up the $9.95/mo option with them, the info might work for you.
