New Support System
Hey Everyone!
We're trying out a new support system that will hopefully make life easier for you and our growing support staff. It will combine the (relative) privacy of email-based support with the ease of access and flexibility of a web forum, but with a lot less clutter and an easier to use (and manage) web site.
If you get a chance, please take a look at the following link and feel free to post a message and give it a shot. If it works out then we'll switch over to this new system as the one-stop place to ask questions about Moneydance.

Unfortunately it's not possible to migrate all of the great posts and feedback from the getsatisfaction forums (and the previous forums on moneydance.com before that), but I do think that the new system will help us help you more efficiently as well as make it easier for everyone to share feedback on Moneydance. The GetSatisfaction forums won't disappear, but pretty soon we'll be putting 100% of our effort into being active on the new system (if it works out).

Inappropriate?I am unable to login to the new support system using a different computer & location from the one I registered with. This is not a problem with this forum.

Inappropriate?Your new forum (is it a forum) site sign-in doesn't appear to accept "get satisfaction" password.
Hopefully when fully working it will allow easier review of past discussions. The current site, this one, is one of the worst I've encountered on the internet.
I find it bizarre to be be asked on this site "How does this make you feel." -
Inappropriate?Now I cannot login at all! After I registered, it worked fine. Today, my login is refused, cannot recover my password. Cannot re-register because the email is "already in use". How am I supposed to correct this if I cannot reset my password or start a new I have run into this type of problem on other forums and eventually gave up on them. I hope this will not be the case with your new support system. I like Moneydance, but will not jump through hoops to use the new system. I get this error message:
Couldn't log you in as 'my email address'
If I try to setup a new account with my email address I get this:
We couldn't set up that account, sorry. Please try again, or contact an admin (link is above).
What link? I can't find the link referred to. -
I think I fixed it. Yesterday I was unable to login to the new support system using a different computer and a different ISP. I won't be able to try again until next week. -
Inappropriate?Here I go again. I have two computers at this location. I am now able to log in to the new support system from my desktop (Linux) computer. I cannot log in with my Macbook. I enter the email & password - nothing happens. It still shows as not logged in. The earlier problem I referred to was with a third computer at a different location. Is it possible to log in to the same account with multiple computers? Am I doing something wrong? I'm hoping that the new support system will be an improvement, but so far it's not working for me.

can your macbook login to http://help.infinitekind.com ? Maybe the problem is related to the frames around the site if you access it through http://moneydance.com/help -
Inappropriate?I tried to post a note for your support staff in the Private Issues section today. It seemed to go in OK but I can't see/find it now, so I have no idea if it's there or if anyone at MD actually received it. I gave it my email address, then was asked to create a new account (so I used the same email address). So... is it lost? Posted but inaccessible to me?

I feel the same way about the face :) We did receive the private message. It goes into the same queue now as all of our support queries (including the ones sent to support@moneydance.com). We'll be continuing our migration away from getsatisfaction now.
