Online Account Download Broken - Revert To Previous Version?
As with several other individuals, I have recently upgraded to 2008r3 (629) and I can no longer download my account activity from any of my accounts. Everything worked fine prior to the update.
The error message is as follows:
"There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below. I'm sorry, an error occurred. The details of this error are below. Error description: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.lang.Character.isWhitespace(l)Z"
This is a pretty important feature that is now broken given the number of transactions that occur in these accounts on a daily basis. Is this a known problem that is going to be addressed and/or is there a way to revert back to a previous release so that I am able to keep using the software as needed?
Thank you,
Dave

Inappropriate?I am rather frustrated at the response (or lack thereof) to a rather widespread and significant problem with the latest update. I am no longer able to download account activity via automatic download or by importing the data into Moneydance. That leaves me with the only option of entering every single transaction for every account manually ... not a good option.
My understanding is that the purpose of these forums are to exchange ideas and have the "development team" monitor and respond to issues as they arise. I have not seen this presence yet. I ask for one of three resolutions as a paying customer:
1) Acknowledge there's a problem and commit to fixing it in a timely manner
2) Provide rollback access to a previous version (2008rc2)
3) Tell me that this is going to be thrown to the side so that I can go back to Quicken or Money.
Up to this point, I have been very pleased with the direction and progress of Moneydance. However, the way conflict resolution is being handled for this software is turning a very happy customer into a very frustrated customer who has no other option but to look elsewhere for software that meets my needs. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
