Online Sync with BOA
Setting up banking with BOA? They spoke to me and said that they could not enable the program on their part. Any suggestions out there?

Inappropriate? Most banks have not heard of Moneydance, however if you ask them to set up your account for "direct connections" from Quicken for Windows then Moneydance will also be able to connect.

Inappropriate?I have this question too, and Sean did not answer it.
I asked B of A to set it up for Quicken, not MS Money, and asked what the required ID/passwords were (answer: the ones you use at the bank web site for online banking). I got the "2000" error indicating my software version is not supported.
I suspected that my version was too old (562), so I downloaded the latest trial version (631, for Mac OS X) and got the same error.

Inappropriate?Maybe this will help you set up a manual connection using your on-line password, ID and account # and B of A routing #.
If so, let us know. I just applied for a B of A account and will be trying to set it up about next weekend. If I get it going, I will post here.
From OFX:
B of A, except CA, WA & ID
FI ID 6812
FI Org HAN

B of A - CA
FI ID 6805

Inappropriate?I just tried the manual method for non-CA BOA. I can't make it work.
I got further than before, though, to the place where it asks for routing and account numbers. It also asks for "Customer ID", and I have no idea what that means. I tried my online User ID and when I click Next there is no response. Same thing when I put my name there. -
Inappropriate?I would have expected "customer ID" to be your on-line account ID too. I notice though that if I choose manual setup for either a CA connection or "all other states" in the MD drop down menu (it adds it to the menu after it has once been selected in the "new connection" list), I get a routing number, ID and pw entry box. I do not have those yet. I assume you tried yours?
Maybe BofA support can help with what they want for the customer ID.
You might also try the CA FI # in a manual setup for the "all other states". I found that there was a mixup on the Capital One OFXhome listing so it is possible BofA has a mixup too.
