P&L report for a single checking account
How do I print a report showing a profit and loss (income and expenses) statement for an individual checking account? I have a few small businesses, each using their own checking account and I need a P&L for each by itself. I see that the income and expense graph lets me choose account, but not categories, and the report lets me choose categories but not accounts. Is there another way?

Inappropriate?Interesting way to book business/s. I think most people would have separate categories per business or, at least, sub-categories per business.
However, "detailed cash flow" and "transactions" for an account will subtotal all the various categories (for transactions choose subtotal by account. MD is inconsistent/confused in its treatment of categories and accounts) in a bank account. They are not subtotaled by I & E though. You would have to do that manually using either the "detailed cash flow" report or off of the screen after sorting your account register by category
