Inappropriate?Actually the" transactions" report won't do that - you can't select income and expense categories. It just reports everything in one long list.
The "income and expense report" is the one that allows you to select specific or multiple categories, including a mix of income and expense categories. Like all of the other MD reporting, though, this report is very inflexible because it does not allow you to select specific accounts and it does not provide the option for subtotals of any kind.
