Why are some expense transactions negative, while most are positive?
Why do some expense transactions, such as ATM withdrawals, show up as negative amounts on the Income and Expenses report, while most (such as all of my bills and personal expense categories) show up as positive amounts?
It seems to me that when the report is adding all the expense categories together, it is then subtracting all the ATM withdrawals from that amount, which in turn is resulting in an inaccurate income-minus-expenses total. Or so it would seem...
Am I missing something? Not thinking straight? Totally stupid?

Inappropriate?I'm wondering if your ATM withdrawals are correctly allocated to an expense category such as Misc Cash Expenditures.

Inappropriate?Hi Dave-
I have them categorized as ATM Withdrawal (if I recall that was one of the preset expense categories MD ships with). -
