What Is A Veteran ?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to
'The United States of America,' for an amount of.......'up to, and including his life.'
That is honor to country, and there are way too many people in this country today, especially those in Hollywood, and most of the liberal media organizations who no
longer understand that fact. America would soon take its place beside the fallen Roman Empire, if we followed their lead.
I am retired military and I can well understand the sacrifices McCain has made..... not just for our country, but those he had to make as his "own man" in the halls of congress......we conservatives must consider the reasons McCain shifted or swayed from his conservative values and views with some of his voting. If you take these to heart, most of his (slightly non-conservative) votes had merit! i.e., up-rooting illegal parents that have managed to stay in America, all the while having children that have been raised via American standards.....I too would have problem sending the parents back while the American Born children were allowed to stay here in America, mind you the parents are still here illegally, but have long sense proven their worth to America by working their fool heads off for us, all the while bearing these new American children that are now , in most cases are respectful youth of our "now generation". Come on folks, that is the humane side of McCain that we should all embrace and view as a positive aspect of our chosen candidate. Additionally, there have been some questionable votes with Liberal on the left that has left us with a bitter taste, where McCain has reached across the isle in an attempt to move America out of a quagmire, or a serious situation that would reflect in a negative way on America and needed someone with guts to just break the tie and move our country on.......It's true, the other side rarely reaches across the Isle in support of our conservative values...(except 911) of which they have long since stated that they had been mis-led by President Bush......yeah right!!! They seem to play to the tune of the crowd in all they say and do.....Seriously, I beg all of you that are leaning on the fence.... be ye "Demo","Rep",or" ind's" ...let's not vote Obama, the most inexperienced new senator, a person with the worst liberal record of all times, into the great office of the President of the United States. Think about it folks......there could be nothing more disastrous, or devastating. Not just to our Party, but to our country as well. I say this not as a person that has a raciest bias of this candidate. But I am convinced that the majority of blacks that now vote for Obama, do so, because he is black. I say this because he has absolutely no experience, and is being propelled by the liberal media. To prove my point, I could easily vote for say.........Colin Powell or for Sec of State Rice over Obama, hey they are blacks. Now here's my point and why I think that most blacks that are now voting for Obama do so only because Obama is black.......My question to them would simply be the following simple question: If either Colin Powell or Connie Rice, had won the nomination of the GOP party and were running against Obama .........who would you vote for ...Connie?..Colin?...or Obama?
I think most, or at least a great many of them would pick Colin or Connie over Obama.....why? because of their stature, their experience, and respect they have earned by serving America.......but never the less, because they are more qualified......So why don't the majority of blacks vote for McCain with all his dedication and service he has given to America?....because they have a raciest attitude in this case and are determined to vote only for a black man......I would vote for either Connie or Colin....However I would favor Colin Powell, because I admire this man, and Hey! by the way he's black..........tell me what do you think? ....am I not correct in the logic of my question, or in my judgment in this matter?
