Real-time updating & username auto-complete
Real time updating & auto-complete for twitter usernames are essential for a web client. Everything else besides that you guys already have. Maybe an unread tweets count would be useful somewhere?

Thanks for the suggestions. Real-time updating is something we've heard from several other people and will consider. We do have auto-complete for twitter usernames of people you follow in the search box...is that what you're talking about?
As for unread tweet counts, we purposely left that out because we find it unnecessarily stressful ("I have how many tweets to catch up on?!?!") But we'll take your suggestion into consideration and see what other people say, too.

The autocomplete works fine in the search bar, but what about the update box? if i want to write to someone i have to type out the whole username instead of having it autocomplete. Did you guys leave that out for a specific reason or is it something your looking into or not at all?

i see your point on unread tweet counts, could end up being stressful. -
Inappropriate?Just realized that you might be trying to use "@username," which won't autocomplete. Instead, just use "username."

Inappropriate? We had not planned to look into autocomplete within the update box but we like your suggestion. So now we will!

Inappropriate?I have to admit, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't an auto-complete in the update box after having witnessed the feature in the search box...
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Auto-complete is a lot more difficult to do in the update box, but as Corinna said, it would be an awesome feature and we're planning on adding.

I agree with the fact it might be very difficult to do in the update box. However if there could be a way to add a + Plus sign next to the update box.
When clicked on you get a list of all contacts or most recents or only contacts in groups.
Some people who follow 20,000 people would hate to load all contatcs but making it show only contatcs in groups & limiting up to 5 groups with 50 people each.
THat will be only 250 contacts to load -
Inappropriate?
I usually use DestroyTwitter on the desktop and have come quite accustomed to it's quick friend lookup feature, which basically presents a list of people to whom I can @mention after typing the "@" symbol (or even letter "D" to initiate a DM). I think this would be a great feature to implement into Brizzly as it makes setting up a mention - when not replying - so much quicker and efficient.

Inappropriate?I can't always remember my friend's @name, so is there a way when typing in a post referencing said friend's name, that when you type @ plus whatever the letters you do remember it starts looking for the name and comes up with possible names in a box? Kind of like the add to group does?

Inappropriate? When typing a @ reply it should auto tried to find who you're going to type and give you a list of your followers to autofill, like Facebook mentions.

Inappropriate?so far, (in the 5 mins I've used it), brizzly seems to be really good, but the lack auto complete feature in twitter clients is my #1 reason for dumping them. hope you include it.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?A feature that Seesmic has done with it's Desktop Application is add the ability to "autocorrect" when it comes to @[Username] for instance lets say I start typing @Bri I would love if it corrected me with @Brizzly (in sense, adding the zzly to Brizzly).
And when it comes up with said suggested user, I would love to be able to press 'enter' and bam! I can continue my tweet.
