Turning off automatic link expansion
Is there a way for me to turn off the automatic expansion of shortened urls? The UI becomes extremely cluttered with these very long URLs...

Inappropriate?Hi Werner,
There is no way to turn off link expansion at the moment. We might make this a setting in the future. Thanks,
Corinna -
Inappropriate?im also distracted by the expanded links, this as a optional feature would be gread, or something like a hover-effect which shows the expanded link...
I’m distracted

Inappropriate?I really like that brizzly expands shortened URLs inline, I prefer it over expanding on hovering. I would be more distracted it the links would start flickering back and forth between shortened and full.

Inappropriate? As discussed in another thread, we're thinking of adding an option to turn off automatic link, picture, video, and map expansion (with the ability to click a "see expanded URL" link or something). Haven't settled on if/how we'll do this, but we hear your feedback.

Inappropriate?I'd like the hover expansion myself, at least for links, but having a settable switch for these would be valuable.

Inappropriate?Hover expansion is better, it may not create problems while retweeting.
-
Inappropriate?I'd like to be able to turn off picture expansion for particular users, like those that overpost or post nsfw pictures.

That's something we're also considering. -
Inappropriate?Sometimes I'd like my links NOT to be shortened... could we have an option to desactivate that on demand ?
