use bit.ly API key to track links
Loving how I can post a full link now and it auto shortens via bit.ly AND the character counter takes that into account. Amazing. Would love to see the ability to add my bit.ly API key into brizzly so I can track links I post via my bit.ly account

The company has not planned to implement this.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the suggestion. We've heard this request from a few other people. It's not something we currently plan to do, but it's possible we'll revisit later on.

This makes me sad but optimistic. -
Inappropriate?Would it be possible, advantageous or feasible to add an html tracker into urls that you post through brizzly, something along the lines of what bit.ly offers?
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
url tracker.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?oops I searched for this and didn't see it, so I added my own topic. HEY BRIZZLY, THIS IS A REALLY GOOD IDEA THAT OTHER TWITTER CLIENTS CURRENTLY DO.
I’m confident

Thanks for the feedback, Fants. It's still not on our radar but we may discuss it in the future. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for at least stating a position. Many services choose to simply fail to acknowledge ideas they don't plan to implement. I have found myself opening / exploring a different client when I need to track a particular url. While its not a deal-killer on most days, it will probably begin to chafe at the edges.
I’m undecided

Good to know, Adarro. Thanks for giving us feedback. -
Inappropriate?I'm really upset that you guys have no intention of adding this. Bit.ly link tracking is invaluable and it makes me sad that I have to go through the process of manually shortening my links so that I can get stats on them instead of Brizzly letting me put in my API Key and doing it all automatically. :(
I’m super sad

Inappropriate?I do hope reconsideration will be given to this. Bit.ly is a great tool to see a few things about links. I've only found one thing so far to use the API but have requested it out of EVERY client I use. Because of not being able to have it done automatically, I am more likely to shorten over at Bitly and just post it to twitter through Bitly.
Still looking for my one-stop-shop...
I’m a little discouraged.

Inappropriate? One of the most interesting parts of sharing links is being able to track their stats afterwards... why you stealin' my fun?! We're all about open, sharing, and caring right? You thrive off of twitter's API -- why not integrate other sites APIs for public use (beyond your own) as well to enhance the experience?
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?good to know :)
I’m slightly amused by the little smiley feeling thingies and happy that you responded
