My BlinkM stopped working unexpectedly.

I received my BlinkM a few days ago. It worked fine out of the box. Connected it to my Arduino and tested it using the sequencer. This morning it just simply stopped displaying light. The Arduino is fine. When I look at it VERY closely it looks like there is a very dim red light flashing. Otherwise it appears dead. I ordered it to be a star on a 'night sky' backdrop in a play that runs at the end of the month so I desperately need it to work by then. Let me know what I need to do.

For anyone reading this: be mindful that BlinkMs are static-sensitive devices, just like Arduinos and other exposed electronics. During the winter months especially, be sure to touch something grounded (like a metal part of your PC, the USB jack of a plugged-in Arduino, etc.) to discharge any static electricity you may have on you. -

Inappropriate?Is there a way to test if its died because of static/ 2 Weeks after using my new max, I got it out again and get no response whatsoever from it.
