Dejumble update.
Dejumble for Mac is going through a serious overhaul. Most of the work has been accomplished and a candidate release is almost ready. The updated version will be free for all users and comes with a price drop for the iPhone version. The official release date is December 2. Beta updates will be coming prior to the update.
On December 6 and 7, we will be offering Dejumble for Mac at a reduced price of $9.00(USD) on maczot.com. Also to correspond with the MacZot promo, we will be offering the iPhone version for $1.99.
The new version comes with some changes to the synchronization system. As such, it will require users to re signup. The process has been made extremely simple and we can insure you that it will be a much more worry free process then with previous betas.
It has been a long process and we apologize for the many inconveniences some of the beta's have caused. To show our commitment to you, we are giving current license holders Dejumble updates for life. This will apply to all previous purchases and purchases made up to November 28, 2008. More details will be posted closer to the official release of Dejumble for Mac.

Inappropriate?Hi Allan
Good news about the update, some of us have been getting a bit worried with the syncing problems we are finding in b25, and presumably the sync server being down.
One question - when the candidate is released and we update, will our currently entered data be safe or do we have to start over?
I’m happy to see progress
-
Their will be a simple import process to import old data into the new app. -
Inappropriate?I'm wondering if it is background processes that are going to be updated or is it GUI or both? If it is GUI can we get a sneak peek screenie?
Thanks for all the hard work!
I’m grateful for the lifetime upgrades!
-
See below... -
Inappropriate?Very excited about the update. If this works as hoped, I can finally stop window shopping for a task manager that will both offer stability and meet my needs.
Any discounts or offers for those of us that have already purchased the iPhone version?
I’m waiting in anticipation
-
We are looking into some sort of discount. The problem is tracking. We have no access to users who have purchased the iPhone version as Apple handles all that, and they don't share the info... -
Inappropriate?Hello! Very very excited with your task manager and we are really looking forward to buying your software very soon. We are currently using it across 2 macs and syncing and sharing the same task list is extremely useful and WORKING! Cant wait till we buy it and the iPhone version as well.
One question, is there a way to export our detailed task list from the beta version we are currently working and depend on and import it to your new release?

Inappropriate?Dejumble Status Update
First off, I'm getting really exited about the update that is coming. It is still on track and is going to be a real step up from the previous version. Due to the improvements and new features it will be released as Dejumble 2.0 and not Dejumble 1.2.0. As stated before, it will be a free upgrade for all existing users keeping with the upgrades for life offer.
What is coming..
1 - Better tag integration with quick tag entry.
2 - Full scripting support
3 - Advanced notes, with adding images, styles and links
4 - And some special extra stuff (repeating tasks, alarms....)
Notes
- This update will provide the ability to import existing data from older versions of Dejumble.
Here is a screen shot of the current look.
I’m excited
-
Allan,
Did you keep the easy priority rating? I don't see any stars on these screenies.
But other than that looks good!!! -
Yep, priorities will still be their... -
Inappropriate?LOOKS REALLY GOOD. Thanks for the quick reply. One last thing from me. It would be a great idea to be able to COLOR some tasks either manually or automatically eg. todays task = RED, tomorrow=Orange etc... To me that is a must have in order to be PERFECT.
I’m lookin fwd to the 2.0!
-
Inappropriate? Here's another peek. This is with the new note taking abilities, drag and drop images, webpages, links .... full text style editing...

This feature, coupled with the new services plugin system, will mean developers can extend dejumble by writing plugins/scripts to automatically post blog updates and what not right from a task...
I’m thankful
-
Wow Allan this is looking AWESOME!! -
Inappropriate? Will there be direct syncing with the iPhone? This would be useful for times when firewalls will not permit syncing with an outside server.
-
We have been looking into this. Were still not sure the best route to take, but something will be available to remedy those situations. -
Inappropriate? This is a great looking update! Excited about the MacZot too since my trial is running out..... (bought the iPhone version already but not the Mac version yet)
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate? The MacZot page states that there are free updates for life if purchased. Is this applicable for all new purchasers or just those through the MacZOt offer?
-
This applies to all purchases of Dejumble, in the past and at the promo.
- Also I will be posting an update regarding Dejumble 2.0 soon. Sorry for the delay. -
Inappropriate?I am really sorry about the delay in 2.0. I will be periodically posting screenshots of what is coming up to the release date.
To start, better task list printing...
I’m excited
-
Inappropriate? Also if anybody is interested in designing print templates let me know. Dejumble 2.0 will also allow for custom templates using html.
