iPhone 2.1 Update and Dejumble
Dispute Apple's reports that the iPhone update 2.1 fixes application crashes, this is not the case for Dejumble. It seems like this update is is causing lots of problems for Dejumble. We are greatly sorry about this issue.

Inappropriate? How about a refund then allen. I have spent two months of my life trying to get your application to work. Seriously, it should not be that difficult to get a basic to do app running. Everyone else seems to be doing ok . And as for syncing, What's the problem? There are a stack of apps that sync. Sorry to be so rude, but getting fed up of every aspect if this damn program to work and you take ages to respond, that's if you respond at all. Given the problems on both the ipod and the desktop, I don't think you have any right at all to charge people for this program. Now if you just excuse me, I just have to head over to the app store to leave feedback, which I've held off doing for some time

Inappropriate? Not being able to add/edit tasks is really bad. I've been using dejumble for keeping track of a lot of things and now I'm kinda screwed. Not good.

Inappropriate? We understand the inconvenience that this may cause our users. We have updated Dejumble to fix the issue, however do to Apple's update approval process this will take longer than it should. Our suggestion is to contact Apple and encourage them to speed the approval process up. It is really unacceptable, as we had no control over this update and what it did to the stability of our application.
The fix for this issue only took a couple minutes, however the approval process is long. This needs to change...

Thanks for the update. I've been developing for the iPhone myself and understand the approval process pains... at least I know you guys are on top of it. -
Inappropriate?will this update bug fix include sync
-
yes this bug fix update includes sync. -
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem. Dejumble crashes entirely when I try to add a task.
The app is no good for me at all as of today (aka it does not do its job).
Also, I bought this app a while back because your website said I could sync it with my Mac "soon." Any news?

Inappropriate?so we will get the update as soon as apple sort out there shop...
in the meantime i have resorted to using some of the other free apps for tasks and project management. theyr all shithouse. whilst it crap that these bugs wernt forseen and that syncing has taken a little to long to come you can still be credited with making the best list app.
I’m indifferent

Yes, once approved sync and fixed issues will be available in version 1.2.0. Its sad that we have had a internal version that syncs fluidly for almost a month however do to the length of time it takes Apple to "approve" important updates let alone crucial bug fixes, users don't get the fixes for almost a week. I do apologize for the delay. We are finding it increasingly difficult to develop a quality iPhone application under Apple's restrictive delivery system (the AppStore). -
Inappropriate?Allan, thanks for the updates. I have Dejumble 1.2.b14 on my MacBook and 1.0.4 on my iPod Touch. It runs great on the MacBook, but on the Touch (and I know others have mentioned this) it crashes only when I try to add a task. Everything else except for that seems to be working, except for syncing (which I think is related to the wireless network I'm on). Keep up the good work!

Inappropriate?Hi Allan, I have just bought Dejumble for both my Macbook and my iPhone and now I wonder if it was a mistake? Guess I should have read these entries before? Anyway just wanted to know how long I have to wait to get the app working finally (...which I like a lot besides it doesn't function at all on my iPhone...)
-
Inappropriate? The issues have been addressed. We submitted an updated version to Apple's AppStore over a week ago. This unforeseen delay is out of our hands. We have also been emailing apple to find out what the hold up is.
-
Inappropriate?hey did your update submission get rejected by apple?
i read this and he got rejected a few times:
http://www.mikeash.com/?page=pyblog/t...
is there more information you can provide? -
Inappropriate?@agly
No it did not get rejected, (yet...) however it is getting increasingly difficult to submit updates. Apple has continually over the last weeks required more information, and yesterday they wanted me to re-upload the binary. Seems they lost the old one??? Anyway, I do plan on posting a summery of why its taking so long and why apple keeps delaying the process. -
Inappropriate? Thanks allan, just good to have a bit more detail about the why. As i read i see its a very frustrating process

Inappropriate? It's here!!!! Dejumble for iPhone version 1.2.0 with sync has been approved and is available.
Get it here...

My apologies for the long wait...

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?Well, I have updated my iPhone to 1.2.0 and my MacBook Pro is running 1.2.b17.1(trial)
... and it STILL won't sync. I've tried creating a new account, etc.
On the Mac end, as soon as I click "Resync data" I get a "Sign in progress..." overlay and a dialog saying "Please insure [sic] you have entered a valid password." When I click "Ok" on that dialog the "Sign in progress..." overlay disappears.
On the iPhone, the data progress indicator twiddles when I launch Dejumble: if I subsequently go to the "i" screen, it says it is synchronised.
But whatever I do, tasks on the Mac do not appear on the iPhone, and tasks on the iPhone do not appear on the Mac.
I’m frustrated!
