I spent some time adding groups and adding items into the groups.
Just before I closed down before getting on a flight, I changed the look to the black background - then shut-down my MacbookPro
Now when I have opened up again, out of a total of 30 items over all the groups, I now have 4 items in total. The groups are still there. Just before shutting down, I was admiring how well I had done!!!!!
I do not have TimeMachine running as I am travelling.
What do you suggest?

Inappropriate?First off, we are really sorry about that. Did you make sure that their is not a search taking place (in the search field) as this will filter what is shown? You can check the amount of tasks each created group has if you go to "Options->Groups" and upon selecting a group, their should be statistics displayed under the Group's title in the left of the window. If the task count is higher than what you have said then the tasks are indeed their.

Inappropriate?DOH!!!!
Who has egg on his face??????
I must have clicked the HIDE button in Options > Groups, which, as its name suggests, HIDES the group from display.
