Sync not working-Fixes not Fixing
Sync not working-Fixes not Fixing
Desktop side
I have followed the instructions for the firewall and removed the plist and the xml from my desktop and created a new account, my firewall allows all incoming connections and I have added the software to my allowed listed as well. I have tried this process on my desktop twice completely removing Dejumble (with AppZapper to remove all the associated files) from my desktop and tried it on my laptop and it still does not work. I have run out of emails to use to create new accounts and do not want to create yet another.
iPhone side
When I add the new account to my iPhone it gives me an "Authentication failed" error that goes away after I re-enter the account information into the iPhone preferences but the software still will not sync. The iPhone does the spinning gear when I open Dejumble like it is trying to sync but it does not seem to work.
I am using 1.2.0 for the iPhone and 1.2.b21 on the desktop.

Inappropriate?Could these issues be related to a ocspd issue, I have been watching my console log and I have seen that this process starts up after Dejumble syncs.
If I kill ocspd the console will report some pushes but nothing actually apears anywhere else.
I’m undecided

Definitely could be! I will look into this. -
Inappropriate?You are not alone!
I've been trying to get the syncing working for ages. Every time a new version comes out I try again, hoping that it will work. When I found the post about the firewall settings I got very excited - I thought finally, this must be it. But it wasn't.
The iPhone app (which was a fair price) seems to be having a good try. The wheel spins and the 'i' button reports that Dejumble is synchronised. It would appear that the desktop end (which I paid good money for specifically because I wanted a GTD app that sync'd) doesn't seem to be pushing data up to the sync servers.
I have tried many different sign-ins and none make any difference. All seem to login happily and yet nothing ever gets sync'd. I have never had any kind of error reported by the desktop app. Either all handshakes are successful or, more likely, there are no handshakes. A little more feedback from the desktop app about the status of its connection and uploads would be really useful.
I'm willing to persevere but some more suggestions would help. -
Inappropriate?I am re-posting my other Topic here, this is something for people to check if they are having syncing issue, though it could just be me who did not notice the option.
I thought I would share my own stupidity in order to save others the frustration of learning it on their own.
If you are not seeing any of your tasked being synced to your iPhone make sure that in Options> Groups you have “Synchronize with dejumble.com” selected for the task group you would like to sync. Once I did this everything seems to be working now.
I’m happy

Inappropriate? For me, the syncing is improved, but it is not yet 100%. Some groups from iPhone have not appeared in the desktop version. Also, a random number of tasks over different groups, are not syncing. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between when I created the task, when it is due, priority, etc... most appear on the desktop, but some don't.
I'm using the 1.2.1 iPhone version (I think, even though it says 1.2.0) and the beta21 desktop version.
