I can't upload "application" to my DS202-00 running firmware (tios-em202-2_05_01.bin)
(the led is flashing..) when using the IDE to upload the app it just says "uploading.." but nothing happens. The MAC is NOT shown in DS-Explorer and serial upload gives the same result.
If I put the standard DS firmware (3.66) the device is shown in DS-manager and DS-explorer. At this state I can upload the TIOS using UDP or serial, but after this the device is not found.
Am I using wrong firmware?
This was the only one I found..
What is the difference of the DS202-00, ..01 ..02 ..03 ??
Problem using AGGREGATE with DS202 and with a datalogger from ONSET.
The situation is:
LAN 1: PC1 (with Aggregate Client) + router1
INTERNET
LAN 2: PC2 (with Linkserver) + DS202 (connected to ONSET datalogger) + router2
I try to consult data from ONSET datalogger of LAN2 from the PC1 in LAN1.
If the DS202 was in the same LAN, I can configure a VSP with the DS202 and then the HOBO software from ONSET can use this COM port to download the data from datalogger. That works fine.
The problem is when the DS202 is in another LAN. I've installed AGGREGATE server and client, and now from PC1 of LAN1 I can see the DS202 of LAN2. That's OK.
But now, I need to create something like a COM Port with this DS202 of the LAN2. I've tried to use the VSP, but I only see the DS202 which are connected in the same LAN... So, how must I do to create a VSP with the tibbo of the other LAN??
Whenever I power up my DS202 I always have to re-boot via the Tibbo IDE for my lan to serial port code in the Tibbo to work correctly. Before I do the re-boot I can see from the icon in Device Explorer that the Tibbo is supposed to be running.
Is there anything that I can code into the Tibbo to guarantee full operation on power up without the need to send a command from the PC?
When an application hangs and the virtual serial port is left open. Is it possible to perform a reset of the DS202 hardware using TCPIP or UDP. If so what would be the command I would need to use.
