I ordered a custom Lex Pack size large in light green/slate blue/black. It's beautiful...but I'm 5'4'' and it's HUGE. I feel so foolish because it's much too large for me and I know there is no return policy and I don't want to sell it on Ebay...
Does anyone have any ideas on how to sell it so I can get a medium?
P.S. I know I should have taken a better look at the dimensions, no need to berate me on being dumb.
Had my second bag delivered today - a custom XS messenger. Nowhere in the Build a Bag area does it mention this. The only place I found it was on the non-custom bag detail page. In addition - your FAQ on the cross-strap does not mention this either - in fact it makes a blanket statement about ALL single strap bags.
When I called for a return I had to make a case to get a custom bag returned - then I read the return instructions and I have to pay for shipping! So I had to pay shipping to get it here in order to find out it isn't really a messenger bag (it's a satchel) THEN pay shipping back to SF? Makes no sense.
You guys need to fix the Build A Bag to clarify what customers will receive.
And no, I'm not going to pay shipping to send it back to you so I can order a size S ($10 more! and bigger than what I need) and pay for you to ship that to me as well.
i want to order a custom built messenger and i wanted one with one of the "limited' fabrics in the center panel. on the builder, when i select a limited fabric it deletes the clip holder for a blinky light when commuting, i was wondering if this is just logistical or if i were to have a custom panel in the center it would indeed delete the loop for the light to clip to.
I've been looking for a good pack for my dog so he can carry his own water and such while we're hiking and out and about. I recently found one that has a fantastic design (it doesn't look like a repuposed fanny pack, which is what most dog backpacks seem to be) made by a company called Ruff Wear. They have terrible color selections and I've emailed their customer service team to see if custom colors or other colors are possible, and the response was that they won't be updating their colors for a least a year. Their packs are made in the Philippines.
My question is, can Timbuk2 make a dog backpack? www.ruffwear.com is the website and the "Approach" is the name of the bag I'm interested in. I know you guys make awesome products that would be perfect for my rough and tumble 4-legged-friend, and I'd love to purchase one made in the United States. Is this something you are capable of? I don't see why Ruffwear won't help me out with some decent colors, but I suspect it is because their packs are made overseas and are probably purchased in bulk.
I recently decided to replace my well-used old Timbuk2 messenger bag, and bought a custom medium messenger bag made of ballistic nylon and love the way it turned out. But, it doesn't have a loop for a bike light!! Was that feature removed from the bags? I use that loop on my current bag every day!
what is a good, cheap, thin, laptop bag, that either has a handle, or I carry over my shoulder. I would also like to carry my phone and possibly a book and charger. I have been searching for a while and I can't choose.
I received my XS custom messenger yesterday and found that the inside liner was scuffed and had abrasions all over the inside. The first thing I noticed was that the liner was a matte black instead of the shiny black that came with another bag I have; and posted a question about that. Then i noticed the scuffs. The ballistic nylon is also already fuzzy. I filled out a warrenty return form, but I want to make sure that this is the kind of thing that covers.
Thanks!
can i change shipping options once the item has been shipped?
i mean.. can i make it arrive earlier and all.. i understand there will be a fee, but how much is that. and how early can it get to me.
I ordered two custom bags, both with black linings. One is a SM Market tote and has a shiny black lining. The other is an XS classic messenger and has a matte lining. Why are the textures different?
