    Foldable tote bag Last reply on June 25, 2008 23:41.

    I saw the post a couple of days ago about someone wanting a lunch tote, and that got me thinking about how an extra bag comes in handy for me at times. So how about a foldable ballistic nylon tote bag in the style of the cargo & market tote but without the organisational panel and (maybe?) the waterproof liner, that can be folded flat easily. It'll be great for when I stop at the supermarket on my way home or when I need to bring home extra stuff. Most totes out there(including the ones the supermarket sells) are thin, poorly put together and fall apart easily. I've had handles come unstitched(while carrying it) and the bottom fall out. I like to be green and refuse the plastic bags, but not if I'm going to have my shopping all over the floor of the train or pavement, and a dependable lightweight tote would be great to have.

    Takin' care of hemp? Last reply on June 25, 2008 16:14.

    I just bought the Hemp Market tote (it's fabulous)! Is it washable? Can I have the exterior Scotchgaurded to protect it from the elements? What is the best way to care/clean it?

    Hi. I am trying to get the Market Tote but I couldn't find it anywhere on the website. Has it (horror of horrors) been discontinued? I've been eyeing it for awhile now but never got around to actually buying it. Is there anywhere I can get my hands on a Market Tote? I live in Singapore but buying it direct from your site should not be a problem.

    I was waiting for my May paycheck to create a custom Market Tote, and then I came onto the website and see that there are no market totes to be found, or I'm blind and I can't see them! Where did they go?!?! Did I miss out since the cargo totes are now BYOB???

    For those of us with laptops to carry around and who prefer tote bags to messenger bags it would be fabulous if you could put a laptop sleeve in either the cargo tote or the market tote. Maybe as an option in the build your own bag?

    I ordered two custom bags, both with black linings. One is a SM Market tote and has a shiny black lining. The other is an XS classic messenger and has a matte lining. Why are the textures different?

    Basically, what is your opinion? The messenger, the metro? a tote? Since Timbuk2 hasn't made us a camera bag yet, I'd like some ideas of what you've used before I get one. I was thinking the metro, but I'm not sure yet.

    I need an idea about how big the medium vs large Market Tote is. I want to use it as a purse/ tote bag for when I am out with my 18 month old. I am small (5"1') and tend to tote a lot of extras. Will the large tote look ridiculous on my small frame? I don't want to look like I have a suitcase on my shoulder, but I want a bag that is up to the job. As a reference, would a pair of shoes fit into the medium market tote? Also, for clarification, does the market tote have closure at the top? Thanks!

    I want to order.....I am going to order a market tote. I already have one that I ordered a few months ago. I was wondering if anyone could post some pictures or give me a real feeling of the difference in sizes...between the small & the medium market tote. Love my small....but with twins it is kinda hard to just have a tote bag...meaning over the shoulder. Tried a cargo tote but like the way the market tote hangs down. May order the medium, but am afraid to....am afraid that it will look too big on me....4'-11"...petite woman....lugging around 2 yr. old twins. Any help would be great.

    Monitor color reproduction can be so fickle, so can you tell describe the colors in "silver soda pop?" On my monitor it looks like it goes well with the khaki solid. Is that true? Does it also match the silver solid? I'm going for a complementary look, not contrasty.
