My pack's handle is tearing off :-( Last reply on March 19, 2008 20:24.

I bought a ballistic nylon Track daypack about a year ago and the handle is tearing off. This is a lightly used bag and the rest of the bag almost looks like new. Is this normal?

What are the differences between the Original and the Newer Track Daypack? Last reply on March 11, 2008 23:27.

What are the differences between the Original and the Newer Track Daypack?

All I notice is there seems to be an extra compartment in the newer one. Could someone provide the dimensions of the Original Track Daypack?

    Thanks!

Are there dedicated locations for cables/charger in the Track and Commute backpacks? Last reply on March 11, 2008 22:14.

Are there dedicated locations for cables and power adapter in the Track and Commute Daypacks?

It'd be GREAT if there were dedicated compartments for them instead of just having the charger thrown in with the rest of the stuff in the daypack.

Pressure on Laptop while backpack is loaded? Last reply on March 06, 2008 17:03.

I purchased a Track Day Pack about two months ago. I absolutely love it as a backpack for school, but I'm concerned about the pressure put on my laptop when I'm wearing it and have books in the other compartment. I absolutely cannot lay the bag down on the strap side, as that places pressure I KNOW will damage my laptop. I have not been able to figure out how to test how much pressure is on the laptop when I wear the bag, though. The material between the padding against my back and the laptop is bowed in towards the laptop, came like this brand new, and does not offer any sort of protection. The "360" protection on your website is just around the edges. What do I do about the weight of my books? I don't want to have to buy a rigid sleeve to put inside my backpack, but I don't know if I have a choice - that's another $50-100 right there. Help!

Track Daypack w/ Waterproof bottom? Last reply on February 27, 2008 22:04.

Does the Track Day Pack laptop bag have a waterproof rubber bottom? I know it says so on the site, but when I was looking at a Track Day Pack in a local store, it had a normal bottom. Also, in some of the pictures of the Track Day Pack, it's hard to tell whether it has a waterproof rubber bottom.

I was also wondering how resistant to rain the Track is. I currently have a messenger bag and I love the rubber waterproof flap but my next bag will be a backpack that has to be able to resist rain for at most 15 minutes (my morning walk commute) with a laptop in it. Any other recommendations if the Track isn't best suited for rain?

    Thanks!

How rain-safe is the zipper on the Track Day pack? Last reply on February 07, 2008 18:12.

Will it hold up to heavy rain?
The zipper does seem to have some sort of protection, but is it enough?

which is bigger - the track daypack or the underground? Last reply on January 12, 2008 02:23.

I travel a lot, and i am looking for a good backpack that will protect my laptop (compaq presario f500) and while also doubling as a good carry-on. I'm wondering which is a better choice - the track daypack or the undergound? I'll also be using the bag on long walks for carrying groceries and such.
