I would like to make my own messenger bag in an XL with a laptop compartment but it doesn't have that option in the bag builder. Can it be added on?

I have a zeropergallon patch that I would like to have stitched into the bag, would it be possible to send it in and have it sewn into the center panel of my "dream" laptop messenger bag?

I have read the post that is 5 months old saying that you don't, but I wasn't certain if you have started doing that for a nominal fee after seeing the flickr post about how someone had theirs sewn prior to the liner being installed at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ryanhenb...

There is obviously a great deal of interest in this, and I think many opportunities and options would be opened up if you offered the option to have a patch or reflective material to be stitched in per customer request.

As a sidenote, how does the white ballistic nylon hold up / is it moderately simple to clean if it gets dirty?

I am fantasizing about a large Laptop Messenger with black/white/navy blue panels with a blue strap and white logo. Unless a nice new dark custom fabric comes in, then I might swap that in for the black. Gauging by the colors... I think the zpg patch would be right at home in that color scheme. It's now been over a month and a half of color swapping and trying to decide. There are so many choices... it's REALLY hard to narrow down.

My order number is 5164764.

I ordered a custom messenger 11 days ago and I'm still unable to track it on your site.

Have sent several emails to customer service, response is extremely slow if any and a vague reply like "processed, should be shipping soon" and "it should not take that long" is not reassuring at all.

No one knows the exact status of my order, has it even been made yet?

According to http://www.timbuk2.com/wordpress_cms/customer-service/shipping-information/ , bags ship in 3 business days and custom orders do not require additional processing time.

I understand slight delays happen but it has been 11 days which is almost 2 weeks! And to make matters worst, delivery to Ohio will take an additional 5-7 days.

I have heard and read good things about this company, that gave me the confidence of making my first Timbuk2 a custom made one.

However my first personal experience is proving to be extremely disappointing one, I'm regret not purchasing a common one instead, it would have been way cheaper and probably a lot less frustrating as well.

The entire transaction would have taken at least 3 weeks, assuming it ships by the end of this week which is tomorrow and reaches me without any further issues.

Lastly, I will be starting work without the bag which I was so looking forward to and should have arrived by now.

Earlier today when I was trying to find some awesome color combinations on flickr for my custom bag I read something about seeing how many bags have been made in a specific color combination. I have searched for a place where I could see this, but I can't find it. Can you help?

anyone knows if the Lex Pack can be customised into including a laptop pouch?
i know i could just use a laptop sleeve and throw it in but would really love it if the pouch was in-built (less of a hassle than having to take out the pouch, unzip, rezip u get the drift ;) )

I recently decided to replace my well-used old Timbuk2 messenger bag, and bought a custom medium messenger bag made of ballistic nylon and love the way it turned out. But, it doesn't have a loop for a bike light!! Was that feature removed from the bags? I use that loop on my current bag every day!

On Flickr I've recently seen a few custom messengers that have a yellow liner and I haven't seen that color in the bag builder over the last year. Are there any plans to bring that color back out?

Would the SF store have access to that color for a one off custom?

Well, the Build Your Own Bag thing had Large laptop messenger bags available yesterday, but today that option was gone. I'm just wondering when they'll be available again. Because my laptop width is like 14.5" which is 0.3" away from the medium bag...

When will detachable reflector tails become available again on custom laptop messenger bags? A few days ago I was able to select them as an option. But not today. Thanks!

What happened to the color leaf green? It is killing me that I cannot create a custom bag with it. Will you be bringing this color back?

I work for a small architecture firm and need gifts for an anniversary party. There are about 20 people. Would you embroider a company logo on a bag or use a custom fabric?

But it looks as if the Lex Pack doesn't offer the laptop insert as an option and their are no other customizable backpack-style bags! Is there anything I can do short of just getting a sleeve?

My XL custom messenger bag ( with the convenient XL sized velcro... velcroes) was ordered in December and all three colors are no longer available in the Build-Your-Own-Bag part of your website. Recently, I noticed that one of the XL velcro pieces is coming off, and is only sewed on about half way. I dont want it to be ripped off completely, but i don't really know what to do.
Any suggestions?
