I'm doing the build your own bag thing, and I had a couple questions. First of all, if the tabs are smaller than the tails, are they still as easily visible at night? Does it make much of a difference in visibility?
Also, I'm not sure if I'm getting a 17" Macbook Pro yet or not. I may get a 15", but if I do get a 17" one, will it fit in the medium messenger bag if I have it in a separate sleeve of its own? I'd get the large laptop bag just to be safe, except that I'm 5'2" and the large bag looked pretty huge on the 5'3" girl in the pictures of employees with bags that you have up.

Just how much of the bag is lined? Last reply on May 04, 2008 14:21.
Does the waterproof lining cover the entire inside of a custom messenger bag, or just the top flap? An advantage to an orange or light gray liner would be the added visibility inside the bag, making it easier to find those random small items at the bottom. ...But that assumes the ability to choose the interior color as well as the exterior panels.
So what's the story? Is the waterproof lining an all-over lining, or is it more of a waterproof flap situation? -

I am currently trying to decide what size laptop messenger I should get. The bag is going to serve a few different purposes, a day trip bag, overnight trip bag, school bag, a bag that I can take to work with a change of clothes (I work in a daycare...sometimes we get messy) and a bag to take to my internship.
So basically can the bag hold a change of clothes or two, a laptop (macbook, hopefully becoming a macbook pro soon) and other odds and ends plus toiletries (hair brush, shampoo, etc), or 2 text books, 2 notebooks and a laptop, and other odds and ends you always need? Basically I am trying to find a bag that will fit everything I need but not be too big for when I am only carrying a few things.
Also, do the grab handle and shoulder pad thing matter that much? -
