I was looking at the black/grey/black Pet Hemp Hacker backpack (I really need a bag that can be both messenger and backpack for the different ways I commute through the day) only a few days ago. I came back today to buy one, but they are no longer listed. Are they out just for now, or forever?
I love my messenger bag I have that is waxed canvas. I'd love to see the Hacker in waxed canvas. I don't like the feel of the slick ballistic fabric.
I've read that the blogger has more storage room than the hacker. I've read that the blogger's laptop compartment is not covered by the waterproof flap. I originally liked the idea of converting from a backpack style for my 3-miles bike commute to a messenger style for business hours. But more room is better. No-so waterproof is not. I'm confused as to what to purchase. I'm a long-term XL classic messenger user for an extra wide laptop. Now using a small tablet (15") and like the vertical design of blogger too.
I'm a student, with books and files and sheets of paper to lug around. I don't particularly want a messenger bag because it puts a lot of strain on one shoulder.
I'm only 5'3" so I chose the smaller backpacks. I just wanted to know which one is better for stuffing schoolbooks into, and more suited for school, as a whole. Are the two straps for the flap adjustable, so I can loosen it and stick my trainers in there?
Also, I don't have a laptop, yet; until a go to university, in a year or two. Planning for the future.
Which is has greater capacity, and which would you recommend? I want to use it for short commutes e.g. trains and longer ones, e.g planes. Also does one look smarter than the other - sometimes I need to be suited and booted.
I'm a big fan of pink and other traditionally girly colors and I love that you have those options in the Bag Builder. However, I'm also a person who carries around my laptop everywhere and my laptop messenger bag doesn't work for me. That big strap across chest+female= ugh. I would like to be able to customize the Hacker bag colors.
will 15" wiki fit into hacker backpack? I love my hacker, but there's not alot of padding and I want to get a Wiki sleeve for 15" MBP. Will the Wiki fit inside my Hacker?
How well would the Hacker bag work for a 13" macbook? I know it's meant for a 15" laptop, so I'm wondering if the 13" would just have way too much room to bounce around.
Is there ANY way I can buy a Timbuk2 bag in India without ordering online and having it shipped?
I'm looking at the Hacker backpack (medium), which leads me to my next question. Why do you have the Hacker in just one color on your website? There seems to be an All-black version on amazon.
on the web page the graphite green for the hacker looks more graphite and not really green at all. But on the little color bar it looks more green. Can you tell which it is?
I've just managed to track down a Hacker bag in the UK.
But it doesn't have the backpack straps?
Is this a normal model, or have I managed to get some strange hybrid?
The Hacker bag looks really versatile, roomy, and yet non-bulky. It wont fit my 17'' laptop, so I wanted to know if you had any plans on making a 17'' compatible version in the near future?
