    A thin hard-case would be really nice for a powerbook. Something slim that fits in my backpack, but protects the metal and all that.

    Hi, I have been looking for a laptop messenger bag and was considering buying a Timbuk2 but then I saw the "Classic Messenger
    Artist- GlueKi" and loved it but I wasn't sure if I could use it as a laptop bag for my 17" Macbook Pro? Thanks...=D

    Will my Acer 5920G fit in the Commute 2008?.. and some other questions. Last reply on July 01, 2008 22:38.

    Hello, I've an Acer 5920G laptop, and its dimensions are 364 (W) x 270.2 (D) x 30.8/43.7 (H) mm. It has to be forcefully stuffed into the Medium Laptop Messenger's laptop compartment to fit, but fits comfortably in the old Commute XL's.

    I heard that the new Commute 2008 has a smaller laptop compartment than its old bro. Is this true? Will my laptop fit in the Commute 2008? And is there any new colours coming for Commute 2008 Large soon? :D

    Different Internal Specs for Commute? Last reply on June 25, 2008 23:07.

    Got this specs for the Commute messenger (Medium) from a local retailer site...
    Width 13.75 inch/34.92 cm (Local retailer)
    Height 10.25 inch/26.03 cm (Local retailer)
    Depth 1.25 inch/3.17 cm (Local retailer)

    However the specs differs from the one in the US Timbuk 2 site. May I know which is correct?

    Width 15 inch/ 38.1cm (US Timbuk 2)
    Height 10 inch/ 25.4 cm (US Timbuk 2)
    Depth 1.5 inch/3.81 cm (US Timbuk 2)

    My Benq S41 laptop, height is 248mm ~ 9.764inches. Depth is 2.66cm - 3.87cm. Will it be able to fit the Commute messenger (Medium) 2008?

    I'm interested in a messenger bag but don't know which one to buy. I need a bag to carry my 15" computer in and a couple of medical textbooks. I have narrowed my choices down to the Herringbone Commute and the Herringbone LaptopMessenger. Also, is there anyway of seeing a upclose picture of hte Herringbone material in the Herring bone Brown color? Is the Herringbone material Ballistic Nylon? Thanks

    Missing loop when having a Limited Edition fabric for the middle panel, as shown in the Bag Builder? Last reply on June 18, 2008 21:34.

    Hello. Within the Bag Builder of a large laptop messenger, when you change the middle panel's material to a Limited Edition fabric, the loop on the lower front disappears, but it's there when you change it back to a normal color. Does this mean having a limited edition fabric for the middle panel will cause the bag to be missing that loop? And how tough are the limited edition fabrics, really? As tough as ballistic/cordura?

    I have a small cargo tote now, but would love a bigger one with a LAPTOP SLEEVE that I could use to carry to work every day. I do like the messenger style bags, but a tote is much better for me. Any chance that a laptop sleeve could become an option in the "build your own cargo tote"?

    I want an ergonomic backpack that I can put my (full) Timbuk2 X-Small Messenger bag, a 15" MacBook Pro (in a sleeve), and a lunch in for commuting. I'm looking at the Lex Pack. Do you think the large will fit all of this? (I think the XXL would be too large for me.)

    My outtawhack day pack shoulder strap pad stitching is breaking? What can I do to have it replaced or exchanged? it is not a frequently used bag in my arsenal. I was a little disappointed that a 1 year old bag with this price would have such poor stitching on such a critical component.

    Will a Dell 1520 fit in the Marina Computer Case? Last reply on June 12, 2008 12:26.

    My wife likes the Marina case. Do you know if a Dell 1520 (14.10 x 1.65 x 10.59) will fit? It looks like the sleeve inside has a little slack in it in the picture.
    Iknow the product page says it fit a laptop up to 13.75" but since that's only .35" difference do you think it will fit?
