I was wondering if Timbuk2 has the right product. I'm looking for a laptop bag (for Macbook 13") that can hold a water bottle but specifically one that can hold a 1.0L Camelbak water bottle. I pretty much carry it everywhere since water is the only thing I drink these days. Prefer messenger but a backpack will also do. Thanks.
I'm looking for a shoulder bag to carry the following: 12" laptop, books, notebooks, Nalgene water bottle (very important), change of clothes, maybe change of shoes, and whatever else the day requires, without being so bulky that I knock people over when i turn around.
I think I've narrowed it down to the Commute L, the Laptop Messenger M, or the Messenger M. I already have a laptop sleeve. One thing I'm trying to weigh is the extra laptop protection/convenience of the Laptop Messenger M vs. the extra capacity of the regular Messenger M -- the capacity difference seems to be significant. Also, is the optional "center divider" in the regular Messenger deep enough to contain my 12" laptop in a sleeve (if I don't want it bouncing around in an otherwise lightly filled bag)? Many thanks.
The commute has plenty of pockets, and water bottle holders, but it's small and brief-case-like, plus the padded back is less than comfortable, and it lacks the quick cam strap sewn right in for strength.
