Are you fixing the bag builder medium laptop messengers to fit the new 15" MacBook Pros?
When you revamp the bag builder (which is what I gather you're doing from the "change is comin' to the bag builder" part on the homepage) will you be redoing the medium size laptop messenger to accomodate the new Macbook Pro 15"? Because I'm a pretty short person (5'3"), so I'd prefer to not have to get the large size, which I'd be swimming, and my laptop would probably also be swimming in, for that matter. Thanks!

Inappropriate? Also, why does nobody ever answer any questions on thing? It takes forever! If a customer needs help, they shouldn't have to wait so long to get a simple question answered!
I’m extremely irritated

Inappropriate?Maybe you should email Timbuk2 directly.

Inappropriate?EDIT: Not trying to upset you, hadesnocturne. :-) I'm just wondering about this topic.
So, curious. Do people expect in general that Timbuk2's bags will be optimally sized just for Apple laptops? I mean, they're not even 20 percent of the current market share, and will probably stay in that range for the next couple of years. But that aside, there are a number of questions about if a particular Timbuk2 bag will be resized to fit the changing sizes of Apple laptops. What about all the people who have laptops from other companies? Shouldn't the bags be resized to fit the largest market share?
Hmm, I guess it's possible that Apple consumers represent a larger market share for Timbuk2 than other laptop owners. And it's not that I have anything against Apple -- the laptops (or at least their graphics cards and device drivers) put the food on my family's table. I'm just curious about the insistance that a product that's not explicitly made for Apple or their products should nonetheless be optimally sized for those products.
I’m curious and provocative.

Inappropriate? Not upset, but you seem to be misunderstanding the point of the question. This is not a complaint - I'm not asking "*Why doesn't* the bag fit", I'm asking "*Will* the bag fit". Right now it doesn't, but the bag builder is apparently being revamped. My question is, is it worth it for me to wait around to get one of the new bags, or shall I go elsewhere? It's not a demand that Timbuk2 cater to Apple customers, it's a question of whether they will again soon. And just because a bag accommodates Apple laptops doesn't mean it can't accommodate other laptops, since often they happen to be the same. It's not an insistence, it's a curiosity. We're asking Timbuk2 to let us know, should we keep shopping with you? Or have you moved on, because then we'll move on too.
I’m a bit annoyed.

Inappropriate? And thanks, Scottitude, I think I'll do that.

Inappropriate? You know I gotta agree with hadnocturne's question. I too have a Macbook and I wanted a custom bag. Had the very same question and the difference in size is quite literally less than a 1/2 inch...seems like lots of other notebooks would fit that size as well.

Inappropriate?I have the new 15.4 MBP (aluminum unibody) and a medium laptop messenger -- and my MBP fits just fine in the laptop sleeve. Just a thought.
