Fixed Length Strap!?

The black plastic piece on the side of my classic messenger had broken. The bracket that holds the strap lock (that flips up and down to lock the length of the shoulder strap) broke so I am no longer able to easily change the strap length! Is it possible for me to bring my bag in and have this replaced? I asked at the store but they weren't sure.
