Great quality and design
My sister just gave me the "Blogger" messenger bag, and I love it! It's a nice size, sturdy, and it's one of the few "vertical" orientation bags available these days.

Inappropriate?Thanks Chris for the fabulous complement. Timbuk2 prides itself on the great quality of our bags and i can tell you that i have a messenger bag that is over 10 years old and looks killer. The vertical aspect of the bag is what many people love, especially if you have to be on a bus, train etc. We also have the hacker which is a hybrid messenger/backpack. Here it is on our site:

Inappropriate?Update: 6 months later, the bag actually still looks like new, and I'm finding all the little pockets to be in just the right spots.
One thing has been driving me crazy, however. The rotation point on the strap squeaks constantly whenever there is any weight at all in the bag. The plastic-on-plastic rubbing is really annoying to me and those walking with me. I'm going to have to wrap the hinge in black tape, because I don't want to lubricate it and possibly ruin my clothes.
I’m happy with the bag, but a little bonkers from the squeaking.

Inappropriate?Chris - as I mentioned in another thread, try flipping the clips around so that the hasp part is facing outward. We had another customer come up with this idea and it is working for him so far.
