I'm a new timbuk2 owner, and I love my messenger bag. For those of you guys that are long time owners: How durable are timbuk2 bags? How many years do they last for you? Any tips for extending their longevity?

Inappropriate?i can say that my 8 year old classic cordura messenger bag is still hanging in there. it's travelled many places and seen many things, been washed over and over and caught in many extreme weather situations. i have used mine on an almost daily basis for the past few years. i guess longevity depends on how frequently you use it. once a week or daily, these babies are solid! i believe the ballistic is even more durable than the cordura. it's tough to attach an exact number of years but i'm sure you will enjoy your bag for years to come
