I have a Laptop Messenger and my MacBook Pro Is above the top of the laptop compartment
I bought the laptop messenger as a replacement and I worry about putting my laptop in it (MacBook Pro 15in). The laptop is just slightly above the edge of the built in compartment, so much so that the velcro latch opens my laptop up sometimes. The other problem is that the sides on the main flap stay open even when closed, some times letting water in while riding in the rain. Is this normal, If I order another will it be the same?

Inappropriate?The sides of the main flap of your bag may still be a bit stiff. Over time they will "sit down" more. If you were to reorder--you would see the same thing. As for the laptop insert, if you have a Medium Laptop Messenger, your 15" Macbook Pro should fit just fine.
