I need a wee tiny Netbook bag.
Dear Timbuk2,
I have a wee tiny netbook. The outside dimensions are 7.25 inches x 9.25 inches x 1 inch.
Do you have plans to create something to carry this mini-pc about? Normal laptop bags are way too big. And it seems the only thing available right now are sleeves. And I want handles, please.
I would love to see something wee tiny from your company!

Inappropriate? How about the Coder? It isn't quite that small but it is pretty compact, with the small holding a laptop no bigger than 9x13x1.5.
I don't know of any plans to make an ultra-small pc bag but we do tally up all suggestions and we will include yours.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?I actually use the smallest laptop sleeve Timbuk2 sells, and keep the power supply and a paperback book in the sleeve along with my wee tiny netbook.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hey Mark, add me to this request then. I just got a Samsung NC10 and would love a vertical, similar to the Hacker (which is my favorite bag) but smaller, to carry it in when I need to travel much lighter.
Thanks

Inappropriate?I have an Asus eee pc 1000 (apx 10"), and would love a sleeve small enough to hold it.

Inappropriate?Count me in on this thread. I would really like to see a messenger bag for Netbooks. Something like the Metro but with a Netbook compartment? I have one of the original Messenger bags for my Notebook and love it
I’m excited that there may be enough requests to make something happen

Inappropriate?Oh my, yes! I've just gotten a new HP Mini, but I'm having a terrible time finding a bag to use with it. I need something that has a snug or adjustable padded area/sleeve for it, but *also* has room for a 3 ring binder or notebook and a couple of small books. I feel like Goldilocks -- one back I got (Case Logic's E-Sling Large) was perfect for the laptop, but not big enough to carry a binder in. Another one I just ordered and got is a backpack big enough for school binders/books, but with a giant 15" laptop sleeve my netbook is just sliding around in.
I'm looking at the small size laptop messenger online, but again, I get the feeling it'll be too small for a binder. Web searches for netbook backpacks or similar things turn up bags that are *only* big enough for a netbook and nothing else, or bags that are for much larger laptops. *le sigh*
I’m feeling like Goldilocks.

I have a small classic messenger, and it is big enough to hold my 14 inch laptop with 9 cell battery in a neoprene sleeve, plus power cables, folders, a small textbook, pencil bag, large wallet, digital camera, and two packs of playing cards on a daily basis (plus occasional other junk). I bet there would be room for a three-ring binder and your netbook in a small classic messenger, with some room to spare. They're very expandable :) The only thing is that you'd probably want a sleeve for the netbook to protect from scratches, if you don't have the laptop compartment.
Speaking of netbook sleeves, Timbuk2...I'm also in the market for one, because I just ordered a 9-inch netbook last night. Something with plenty of padding and more color choices than the one you made for Dell would be nice :) I hope one will come soon! -

Yup, I went with a small custom classic, in hunter/hot pink/hunter. It's been almost exactly the right size. I also got a matching hunter Eula (with pink logo!) for days when I just need my netbook and a couple of extras. I have a matching hot pink sleeve from Ogio I use in both bags.
I love my classic so much I *almost* want a matching Checkpoint, if we ever get custom colors on those.
I’m matchy-matchy!

Inappropriate?I'd really like a netbook sleeve. I'm not so keen on the netbook compartment though--I mean, most of my books-made-out-of-paper are larger than my Acer.

Inappropriate?I have an Asus EeePC 8.9 inch and I am able to keep it in my CLICK, which I think is a fantastic fit. I just have a cheap "hoodie" style sleeve from Walmart that I keep it in inside my bag, but you can get really nice zip up or hard sided sleeves and cases for them a lot of places these days!
I’m in love with my Click.

Inappropriate?I got one of these for my Lenovo S10, worked great for my Acer Aspire One as well.

Fits great inside of other bags or can be used on its own.
You can find them on sale for $10 at places like LaPoliceGear.com occassionally.
