Laptop messanger bag with zippered laptop comparment

I have an idea to put a water resistant zipper on the laptop portion of the laptop compartment of the laptop messenger bag. This would give added protection to the laptop and less likely hood that it would get wet from rain when it is opened to get an item from the bag.
