Messenger grab strap & Pro Series Backpack "padded reinforced handle"
I have a question on the various grab straps... First, I own the Metro, which has a padded (floppy) grab strap, and the Commute , with a padded, but stiff, grab strap (not a complaint--it's very comfortable in the hand while supporting the heavy computer inside). So, the question is, for your other bags, what's the grab strap like? Specifically:
- Laptop Messenger?
- Custom Messenger (with grab strap added)?
- Pro Series backpack (Medium only, I know the larger ones have no handle)?

Inappropriate? The Metro and the Commute have very similar grab straps. The Commute one is a little longer, but they both stick up above the bag about the same.
The grab straps for the other three bags you mentioned don't stick up so much. They are set back on the bag a little more so you don't see them so much when the bags are on - a little more discreet, you might say. They have the same padding though. -
Inappropriate? But what I'm saying is that--on my versions, at least--the straps on the Commute and Metro are *different*. The Commute feels like it has a curved metal rod inside (well padded), whereas the Metro feels like just a bit of padding inside tubular webbing. So my question is whether the Laptop Messenger, Custom Messenger, and Lex Pack have floppy or stiff grab straps.
I’m uncertain

Inappropriate? It's more similar to the handle on the Metro, but since it's shorter, it's not as floppy.
